WHAT IS A/AN JUNIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER?
Your portfolio will showcase your design skills across a wide range of mediums including print and digital. You’ll be an all-rounder, ready to roll up your sleeves and put in the work for the day-to-day design requirements. You’ll have a genuine love for crafting beautiful work, an understanding of the digital world, a desire to develop and grow as a creative and willingness to learn new skills.
WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES?
- Mac proficient with the ability to visualise your thinking through great design
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Animation skills in After Effects and Premiere (essential)
- Willing to develop new skills and adapt to new workflows
- Confident, sociable and a team player
- Have a good understanding of digital design but interested in learning more
- Ability to take direction from Senior Designers and Project Managers
- Work well under pressure
- Strong design skills across print and digital
- Up-to-date with emerging, relevant technologies and trends
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Proactive in developing ideas with the Creative Team
- Sense of humour
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- A Design Degree or equivalent qualification
- 2-3 years’ experience working as a Graphic Designer in an agency or in-house creative team with a strong design portfolio
- Experience creating visuals for integrated marketing campaigns
- Executing animation for social posts
